Our Very Personal God

Afterlife Research, Jesus, The Teachings of Jesus, Understanding Reality

I come to the garden alone,
While the dew is still on the roses,
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses.

And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.
– Charles A. Miles (1868-1946), from “In the Garden” (1912)

On the morning of April 9, 2009, and on ecstatic impulse, I gave the rest of my life to God. It seemed at the time to be only fair, after all that God had given to me. In retrospect, I have to say that, wow, when you do that, God takes you at your word! Within months after that first April 9th, I was writing what became The Fun of Dying. Soon after that came The Fun of Staying in Touch and The Fun of Growing Forever. I met Craig Hogan, and soon he and I were giving afterlife conferences. Then Thomas came out to me through a medium. He insisted that I channel Liberating Jesus, which meant that unexpectedly for two weeks’ time I lived as Jesus’s fingers on my keyboard. So really, upon reflection I would have to say that when you give your life to God, you can look back after several years and realize that God does take your gift seriously.

And God makes it all such a happy experience! I am so much loving my life that I am shocked to notice how old the calendar says that I have lately become. In only another decade or two, I will be what sounds to me like seventeen billion years old. And yet, after the heart surgery that I had last summer, I feel as if I am only maybe forty years old. Or, okay, I’ll admit to forty-two. I am delighted to be still practicing law for the family businesses that I adore, and I continue to podcast. I am writing this blog post in the middle of the night because I habitually split-sleep. I have plans now to share the truth with the world, and that will take another fifty years at least, which is where the age thing may be an issue. I have learned so much in my very long life about the afterlife, about God, about Jesus, and about the greater reality. And I feel charged now with sharing all this knowledge with as many people as I can!

I first personally met Jesus in the astral plane just twenty months ago, in April of 2022. I don’t know what it is about April for my dearly beloved Thomas and me! My childhood experience of light happened in April of 1954, and Thomas Jefferson’s earth-birthday is April 13th. My guess is that the month of April might have even more significance for Thomas than it has for me. But in April of 2022, I thought that even his taking me to the astral plane to meet with Jesus was too amazing a story for me ever to feel entitled to share it, although of course that wasn’t true at all. NDE-ers talk about meeting Jesus in the astral plane all the time. And back then, it was just simply meeting Jesus that absolutely freaked me out. His personal energy feels like silk to be near but it is so immensely powerful, and He was talking to me as if we were friends just casually collaborating on a project, when I was so overwhelmed and starstruck to be suddenly meeting Omigod the real Jesus! Because, of course, what I didn’t know then was that I had been Thomas’s tagalong charge just casually meeting with Jesus and my spirit guide in the astral plane on most of the nights of my earthly life.

Primary spirit guides are never supposed to leave their charges alone for long. And yet Thomas also has another, and a very much greater duty. He is a part of Jesus’s inner circle, and his role for Jesus is what Thomas calls “balance.” He helps Jesus to maintain His connection to the human aspect of Himself, which seems to me mainly as I (rarely) observe it to involve a whole lot of kidding around in what Thomas tells me is a pidgin of several obscure and probably ancient languages, and sometimes actually play-fighting on the ground like foolish teenagers, which apparently nobody else in the universe feels able to do for the Son of the Living God. So when Thomas became my spirit guide, he started to take me along at night when he visits with Jesus while my body sleeps, and he simply gave me complete amnesia for all those out-of-body nights. And his problem was altogether solved. But I had no idea that any of that was ever going on! So to Jesus, I soon became just one more of His many familiars. Thomas tells me now that I have been part of Jesus’s circle of familiars anyway for the past two thousand years, although not nearly to his own extent. But that amazing April night twenty months ago was just dropped on me from out of nowhere with no warning at all.

They had decided to let me remember some of that night, and also many of the subsequent nights of that summer, because it was time for me to start to work with Jesus on the plans that He had been brewing for a website to house His genuine teachings and eventually to become a meeting place as He begins to come out to the world more generally. We all think of Jesus as a million miles above us! He Himself is God, for heaven’s sake. He is fully God and fully Man. You cannot feel His personal energy, so utterly devoid of any human low notes, and not understand that Jesus is God. You are speaking with God. He looks at you, and you see God in His eyes. But as I have begun to know Jesus, I have come to see that what Thomas keeps telling me also is true: Jesus has a gentle servant’s heart. And He has no ego at all! Nothing about Jesus is an affectation. When He asks you questions about your day, He actually is eager to learn about your day. It truly seems never to occur to Jesus that the fact that He operates spiritually even above the Godhead level makes Him any more important than the simple person who is operating barely on spiritual Level Three. Jesus is always sweet and gentle and deeply respectful of everyone. And I cannot tell you how charming that is!

It was on that April 6th twenty months ago that Jesus first told me His genuine Christmas-and-Easter story. Now He wants us to tell it over again on all the Christmases and Easters to come, to gradually replace what He considers to be the Roman Emperor Constantine’s bogus version that prevails in Christianity today. So here it is again. Please read it, just as Jesus told it to me. We have put Jesus’s true story on teachingsbyjesus.com as well, but Jesus tells us that He never intends to make a major deal of it. He says that He understands that some people still find comfort in the old Christianity with all its fear-based stories, even as more and more people are becoming increasingly appalled by it all. Jesus tells us that in centuries to come, people are going to be relieved to hear the true Christmas-and-Easter story, that Jesus came into the world to teach people how they can easily become Perfected Beings so they can make this lifetime on the earth the last one that they ever will need to live here. It is Jesus’s wish for each of us that we will find and follow the spiritual pathway that leads us most directly to find God’s genuine peace in our own hearts.

And Jesus has made my Thomas know that He wants now to go back to teaching what He came two thousand years ago to teach to us. He wants to share His own original Way with those who no longer find Roman Christianity to be either sensible or satisfactory. The pure Way of Jesus still remains preserved in the four Biblical Gospels. The Nicaean Councilors did modify some of the Lord’s words, true enough, but mostly what they did was just to harvest a few random words that Jesus had said, and then they built the very different fear-based teachings that Constantine and other Roman Emperors had in mind on those single plucked-out sentences. Here is one especially awful example:

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. (JN 3:16)

Constantine’s Christianity uses this beautiful sentence to proclaim that God is so barbaric as to require the blood-sacrifice of God’s own Son to Godself, or else God never will forgive us for our sins.

But when we look at the Gospel passage from which this sentence was taken (it is the first of the two underlined sentences in the Gospel passage below), we see that it is about something else altogether! Jesus is actually explaining here to His loyal follower, Nicodemus, that He came to fight what He has told you and me is His own particular bane, which is our vast spiritual ignorance, and the fact that as a result of our spiritual ignorance, too many people even to this day must be born on earth repeatedly, having to reincarnate (i.e. be “born from above”) over and over again. We come back to earth repeatedly, while making very little spiritual progress each time.

What Jesus came to free us from WAS NOT the judgment and punishment of a vengeful God! Remember, Jesus tells us in that same Gospel of John that God never judges us! Jesus actually says, “For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, so that all will honor the Son even as they honor the Father” (JN 5:22-23). Which gives the lie altogether to Constantine’s Big Lie about what Jesus meant when He said the words at JN 3:16, does it not? No, what Jesus was born to fight was not our sins at all, but it was instead our own awful spiritual ignorance!

Or else, why did Jesus even bother to teach us anything? Why didn’t He simply step up and die on the cross right away, and then rise from the dead and head back Home? And Jesus makes all of this perfectly clear in the rest of this passage from John, where He says almost wryly that if people won’t listen to Him as He tells them how they can grow spiritually and thereby save themselves from having to keep on reincarnating forever – if they won’t “come to the Light,” as He says to Nicodemus in the passage below – then there is nothing more that He can do to help them. They have judged themselves to be unworthy of advancing spiritually. Or as He plainly puts it below, “They have loved the darkness more than the Light” (JN 3:20). But those who instead have listened to and followed Jesus’s teachings will find when they come to their post-death life-review that they have grown so much spiritually that, as was also true of Him when He lived His last earth-lifetime prior to His first ascension six thousand years ago, they have been practicing the truth so they have come to the Light, just as He says to Nicodemus in the second underlined sentence below, to the point where their deeds literally have been “performed in God.” And remember as you are reading this that the kingdom of God is the upper part of the afterlife.  Omigod, how much more obvious can any of this possibly be?

Please read Jesus’s words in their Gospel context for yourself!

31Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews; this man came to Jesus at night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a Teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” Jesus responded and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born again (or born from above), he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a person be born when he is old? He cannot enter his mother’s womb a second time and be born, can he?” Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again (or born from above).’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so is everyone who has been born of the Spirit.”

Nicodemus responded and said to Him, “How can these things be?” 10 Jesus answered and said to him, “You are the teacher of Israel, and yet you do not understand these things? 11 Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know and testify of what we have seen, and you people do not accept our testimony. 12 If I told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended into heaven, except He who descended from heaven: the Son of Man. 14 And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 so that everyone who believes Him will have eternal life in Him.

16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but so that all the world might be saved through Him. 18 The one who believes in Him is not judged; the one who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. 19 And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light; for their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, so that his deeds will not be exposed. 21 But the one who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds will be revealed as having been performed in God (JN 3:1-21).

Jesus was born to be our spiritual Teacher. He was born on earth two thousand years ago from out of the Godhead as a Divine Being, fully God and fully Man and literally God on earth, with a divine mission, which was His teaching mission, a life-plan chosen by Himself and blessed by God to teach all of us how to raise our spiritual vibrations to the point where this can be our last necessary earth-lifetime. And once His plan was completed, He chose to die a public death by crucifixion so He could then reanimate His dead body and literally rise from the dead in order to teach us that death is just an illusion. He then used that decaying body briefly before He discarded it and used an astral body for a month, after which He was bodily assumed into the astral plane, where He remains to this day. I am a skeptic by nature, so I have pretty thoroughly investigated all of this. And every bit of it is true!

I tested Jesus’s teachings on myself twelve years ago, and they worked within weeks to raise my spiritual vibration to an amazing degree. The effect was dramatic! And it has been permanent. Jesus has asked me now to begin to teach others to do what I have done for myself, so I am completing a course on how to teach a course. After having just once mentioned my plan here to do this, I received about fifty emails. Which was amazing! I had hoped to start with maybe ten people. But I am game, if you are. We will need first to learn what you will need to know and how much of it you will need to know in order for the Lord’s teachings to work their magic for you, just as they have done for me. The result is a literal transformation! And I am planning to guarantee that same transformation to every participant. We expect to begin Zoom classes in January, and to run this course for ten Wednesday evenings and then do support groups afterward. This is going to be fun! My transformation took just a few weeks, but my prior knowledge base was a factor. However, now that I understand how and why the teachings work, I am confident that our success rate can be one hundred percent. Most of the opt-in requests have come to our info@robertagrimes.com address, so to be sure that you receive an invitation, if your first email was to rgrimes@robertagrimes.com, please send a new email to the info address, and be sure to include your correct email address. Then, soon after Christmas, if you have expressed an interest, please watch your inbox!

He speaks, and the sound of His voice
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.

And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.

  1. Dear Roberta
While I know the subject of consciousness and science and such are important, I LOVE your blogs that focus on your experiences with Jesus😍. It’s like He’s with me, reading over my shoulder. I feel the warmth and love, and fairly giggle like a kid.
    Thank you ❤️

    1. Oh my dear wonderful Fran, when I saw your comment you made me giggle, too! All of us who love Jesus feel this way, as if He is the third member of our relationship here and always looking over over our shoulder. Sometimes He really does look over my shoulder when I am reading emails from strangers, and when someone is upset I will unexpectedly – very rarely – hear His voice in my mind saying, “Tell Him I am there with Him! Ask Him if He can feel My presence?” And then, OMG, He helps me comfort the person!

  2. Hi Roberta,

I am in it for sure regarding your January courses! s

Being Dyslexic and reading the born again things that Jesus told to Nicodemus; I can see where many Christian interrupt it wrong!

If it was not for your integration I would of still believed it the way the extremist evangelicals believe it too mean.

Roberta, I have listened to the Thomas Jefferson bible at night just before going to bed and most the time I fall asleep with it playing on repeat!

What astounds me about Thomas Jefferson’s bible is the preface and why he decided to wright his own version is ASTOUNDING! How he could of known that it was corrupted back in his day is amazing!

I believe that You, and Thomas are the real deal! I love Jesus as well, and would be honored to meet him! I really believe you did meet our Lord!

I am babbling on and for being dyslexic it is so hard for me to express how You, Thomas and Jesus have change me! I have learned so much already!!!!

Thank you so much for all you do!

    1. Oh my dear Litsa, knowing now that my spirit guide had once been Thomas Jefferson, and having been a fan of the Founding Father long before I ever knew my Thomas, I can see how similar they actually are in personality, and even intellectually. My husband and two of my children are autistic, and so are both of them as well. When Thomas once arranged a meeting for us with Thomas Jefferson’s spirit, so we three were together at once, I could feel that they are very similar to one another in spiritual vibration, although my Thomas is more advanced spiritually (and yes, they are two different beings – which was a fascinating discovery in itself).

The topic of our meeting was the Sally Hemings question. I kept bugging my Thomas to know the answer to that one, and he is surprisingly sexually persnickety, so he arranged for me to ask Thomas Jefferson that question directly so I would stop asking him about it. The former president’s answer was, “I could not have been intimate with Sally Hemings because she was my property so she could not have consented.” I had already figured out from the evidence that that was the likely right answer. But wow, what a gentleman!

  3. “Nothing about Jesus’s genuine story makes the Romans’ God’s-Son-sacrificed-to-God-so-God-would-forgive-us nonsense even begin to make any sense!” Yes, painting God as a vengefull monster who demands blood sacrifice for our sins, sins we have not even made as yet unborn, or as docile infants, is criminally foolish.

Ou accomplishing spiritual development, as a physical human animal living in a dangerous material world, is really a tricky business. Why cannot God just tell us that we may have a harsh physical life as a means for perfecting ouir spirit, as a means for becoming less self-centered and more loving of all of God’s creatures and creation? Well, if we come here knowing full well that we are already blessed as eternal beings who reside in blissful Heaven, it would be natural to just play at life as a game, and not thereby not achieve any spiritual gain for lack of a sincere effort. However, as the mean crimes of individuals continue throughout allcultures, and as the wars of nations demonstrate across recorded history, people naturally act as self-centered animals far too often, and so spiritual gain from physical living is also rare and slow.

What Jesus did was to tell us just enough to move us along morally with an improved possibility for spiritual advancement. With God’s gift to us of free will, even God cannot then simply change our status– we need to earn our spiritual successes and elevation.

Best wishes to all to ride through all of the “slings and arrows” of mortal life, suffering the hurts that come, but resisting the mortal body’s emotion to retaliate for vengence.

It’s all so simple too. Love God for His creating our being in His world of “thought,” and strive to love each other, despite the difficulties of mortal life.

Alas, I know I have not achieved the saintly kind and loving countenance such as Roberta has achieved, so at 85 with cancer, I expect to be coming back soon. There is, after all, plenty of time to grow spiritually–all of eternity.

    1. “Alas, I know I have not achieved the saintly kind and loving countenance such as Roberta has achieved, so at 85 with cancer, I expect to be coming back soon. There is, after all, plenty of time to grow spiritually–all of eternity.”

I’d bet you did a lot better than you think.

I can’t tell you in words how much your research and posts have helped me. The two consciousness in one body was a big “aha” moment for me.

I feel like I was given a fighting chance once I was made aware of what was really happening.

I still find it corny to come here with no memory only to have to remember in order to overcome our obstacles and grow spiritually.

Anyway, your posts are always a highlight to my Sunday/Monday morning readings with my cup of delicious coffee.

I hope we all get a chance to meet together and have a huge party when we return home.

      Love you brother.

      1. Thomas, Thank you for your sentiments. I’ve been here on borrowed time since 9/11. The aircraft that flew into the Pentagon made a direct hit on the office of LTG Maude, my immediate boss–had I not retired about a year before, even though I loved my job and had earlier intended to work till I passed in that job, I most likey would have been killed. I do wonder why I’m still here while nearly all of my friends from days of working have passed, and parents and teachers. So, I do try to share what I think that I have learned to make sense of our hard lives here, especially for those who are agnostic or atheist.

A couple of weeks ago, I went to my local pharmacy to get a new prescription to combat my prostate cancer, and then decided to take the new RSV vaccine (although I have definitely avoided the new mRNA Covid shot as dangerous for lack of adequate testing, plus many reports of adverse effects, such as blood clotting). To administer the shot, I had to sit down while the pharmacist injected it. As she was doing that, out of the blue I thought to ask her if she had ever heard about NDEs; she said she heard a bit about that, but really did not know what it was about. As I started to describe what I learned was happening, and what it meant about the nature of our temporary life here as an educational trip from out home in Heaven, the tears started flowing. She explained that her Mom had recently passed from an illness, and so she was still in deep grief. While such grief has to run its course over time, she at least now understood that her loss was a droplet in time, Mom was now in the the bliss of her Heavely home, and in time they would be reunited, along with all other lost friends, relatives, and pets.

        1. And so, my much-beloved Jack, now you understand why you are still here! Wherever you go, I’ll bet you meet someone who needs your ministry. When I was flying back from Massachusetts last week, I sat beside someone who was flying to a child’s funeral, and that sort of thing happens to me all the time as well.

      2. My sweet Thomas, I’m sure that we all will be having a great big party when we soon meet Yonder! And meanwhile, I do feel anxious now to make this our last earth-lifetime for as many of us as possible, especially since “getting it” and taking that step really is so easy!

        1. You’re doing awesome Roberta.

I have a feeling you will quickly have a teaching system created that will get the same results over and over again.

Something that can continue long past our earth lives.

I’m always happy to help in anyway I can.

As much as I wanted to be part of this round of teachings, I didn’t want to take the place of someone else. Especially when you already have 50 signups. That is great!

I think it’s going to be a wonderful experience for everyone. So don’t put too much pressure on yourself and try to have as much fun as possible. I found the more I relax the more productive I am.

Definitely looking forward to the party when we return home!

          1. My dear Thomas, we have close to fifty email addresses of people who want to sign up, but that is all so far! Odds are that not everyone will actually take the course, since it will require them to get serious about growing spiritually now. What Jesus said in that passage from John this week about some people loving the darkness more than the light? It’s actually true! This system Jesus gave us works incredibly well, but it’s a real commitment. So I don’t expect them all to actually do the course. Therefore if you are game to try it, why not?

    2. Oh my dear beautiful Jack, the whole Christian religion was entirely made up by Roman leaders who WANTED us to live in fear of God, and in fear of Jesus as well! That way, they and their clergy would possess and be able to dispense the only antidote for the fear that they themselves had created, so they could then stingily dole it out, at great cost. It was a hell of a racket (pardon the pun!), and it worked for them for nearly two thousand years.

But none of what their religion actually taught ever came from Jesus! And oh, my dear one, even at 85 and with cancer, from what I know of you, it is easily possible for you to make this your last necessary turn on this mortal coil. I can promise you that!

  4. There is still confusion about reincarnation. The Jesus that spoke through Al Fike, for example, among others, says that here is no such thing.

If I come back here again, having no memory about my life before, how can I make progress? This doesn’t seem to me a very loving or fair system of making great spiritual progress.

Also, many mediums assert that our ancestors and loved ones who have passed, are with us at all times. How would that be even possible if they have reincarnated?

Other revelations assert that you make progress on the other side, so that reincarnation is not even necessary. You can do it all “over there”.

Why the contradictions here? And they are not the only ones (e.g. whether Jesus was ever married, had kids, traveled to India, had Zechariah as his father, was a slave or not [some sources say that his father figure Joseph was well to do and had a house in Jerusalem and did business with Egypt, where they lived before], etc., etc.).

Now of course, the most important thing for me is the PURE LOVE teachings that reverberate through all these sources.

Sorry to sound confused, but I am…

    1. My dear Adrian, I have never heard of Al Fike, but a few people have claimed to “channel Jesus” and I have seen a little of what they have claimed that He said through them. All of what I have seen has been nonsense. 1JN 4:1 warns us to test the spirits, and if you don’t do that, you can get all kinds of wacko demonish beings claiming to be Jesus and wanting to speak through you, and also claiming that He said He married Mary Magdalene, traveled to Egypt or France, had four children, and so on. I am a good writing channel, and also very able to hear Jesus’s distinctive voice in my mind. Liberating Jesus is a written work channeled by Jesus, but when Thomas asked if I wanted to voice-channel Jesus, I thought we were doing better working together as we are working now unless Jesus really wants to change things and use me as a voice-channel. As it is, He sometimes tells me what He wants me to say about something, but He wants me always to speak for myself. I never claim to be channeling Him directly!

And you will notice that Jesus actually never uses the term “reincarnation.” He says “born again.” There are others, too, like my friend Craig Hogan, who use this term, and it actually may be more correct, since while each time that “you” might “come back,” Jesus and Craig would say that it is the spiritual framework of “you” which is “born again,” but with spiritual aspects from other sources. That is what the business about the wind blowing here and there in Jesus’s speech above is likely all about.

And as for the various other things that you mention that others may have said that a fake-channeled Jesus could have talked about, He has been extremely busy healing the hundreds millions of people that Roman Christianity has damaged over the past two thousand years. Doing that has raised His own spiritual vibration even hugely more than it even was raised when He was last on earth, but what with that plus parenting the aborted babies in the children’s villages and greeting the millions of Christians who want to meet Him as they come home, He hasn’t had much attention to be spending elsewhere!

      1. (My dearAdrian, as an aside, there is some evidence that Jesus was born into slavery and freed at the age of 30 – you can find a recent blog post about it here. Otherwise, I have never found any evidence at all that any of the rest of what you talk about here is true.)

    2. What you are is Consciousness. There is One Consciousness and that Consciousness is what incarnates each time a life form shows up. If we stop thinking of ourselves as any individual thing based on individual memories then the whole reincarnation thing goes away. I could lose access to all my memories tomorrow and still exist. I would basically be reincarnated and just continue on my merry way making new memories.

  5. Adrian, You paint the picture of uncertainties, potentially leading to confusion:
    : Sorry to sound confused, but I am… :

But it’s nevertheless clear that you have overcome such uncertainty when you assert without equivocation, ” Now of course, the most important thing for me is the PURE LOVE teachings that reverberate through all these sources. ”

So, in this edition of your mortal lives you are now functioning at a far higher spiritual level than the rest of us.

    1. Oh indeed, my dear Jack, and no matter how confident we are, we all want that absolute certainty, and we want to abolish every doubt. And in that, I feel that I have cheated, big-time. I have always been such a terrible skeptic! Even when I actually got to meet Jesus in person back on 4/6/22, I was grumping at Thomas the next morning that, of course, that hadn’t actually been the REAL Jesus, right?

So, what did Thomas do then? He and I happened to be driving around Massachusetts that morning, so he brought Jesus into my back seat with him right then, so all of a sudden there He was, and they carried on a kind of vaudeville act there and then. They cracked me up so completely that I was doubled over with laughter, and I had to stop my car dead in the middle of a busy city street. I kid you not. The King of Kings is not above giving people a case of the sillies when necessary!

But the fact that I have gotten to know Jesus personally is a very rare gift, and believe me, I know that. I have been given so many gifts!

  6. Hello Roberta:

As Christmas approaches, I am curious to see how Jesus feels about it. I was hoping you could tell us more about that. I have always accepted Jesus as the son of God, without question. The gospels have been my focus since you mentioned that is the part of the Bible we should focus on. I am a work in progress and have studied other religions and what you say makes perfect sence to me as I do not believe that Heaven is divided up by one’s religion. I do think God likes variery even if we do not get it right.

I am signed up for your course so I can learn more, It will be easier to spread the word and work of our Lord if I understand him more clearly. As others have said I need to understand reincarnation better. We must have more abilities than we can imagine in our spiritual state than physically here on earth.Thank you for the opportunity to learn. Thomas is an awesome Spiritual Guide for you!

    1. Actually, my dear Jennifer, I wondered about this too, so after I read your comment, I asked Jesus about it, since I had never heard Him say anything about Christmas. I think He had to think about it Himself, because it was awhile before He answered me. Then later on I was reading something about someone who was giving some lovely Christmas gifts to a whole street of poor children anonymously, and he did that every year. Or something like that – some lovely thing – when I heard Jesus’s distinctive voice in my mind saying, “So many people feel moved to do so many things for other people in the name of Christmas. Of course that makes Me happy!” Then He seemed to think some more. Awhile later He said that He wished that it were easier for people to feel moved to do things for others without needing Christmas for their reason, but that time will come. Until then, yes, the love aspects of Christmas make Him happy.

But He didn’t seem to be associating the holiday with Himself. And the thing is, while Jesus asks us a lot of personal questions and is eager to hear our answers, I cannot even imagine asking Him, “Do You think of Christmas as Your birthday?” But Thomas could. He had no difficulty asking the question, and Jesus told him that Christmas is just a Christian holiday so He doesn’t pay much attention to it. And He realizes that baby in the manger is supposed to be Him, but it is all just symbolic. He doesn’t really think of it as Himself.

  7. I clicked on the link you provided to sign up for the January Course and got a message back that my email had not gone through. I would be most appreciative to have an opportunity to take part. While I have not participated previously in the Comments section, I have followed your blog for several years (and read most of your books) and you, together with your regular commentators, have made my life much richer. God bless you, and may you continue God’s work for many more years!

    1. My dear William, welcome to commenting here! I am planning to assemble the invitation list this week, and I will add your email address then so it will be fine.

Actually, several of those who have emailed about the course have said more or less what you have said – they have been reading my blog and/or listening to my podcast and/or reading my books, and this course feels like the next stage in their spiritual journey. Which of course delights me, dear one, more than I can say! And my Thomas is telling me now, too, that we will be creating more courses, and meeting regularly and beginning the Way of Jesus again, but all of that will be up to you. I know that is what He wants! And since He can move on people’s hearts….

  8. Oh Thomas, you’ve helped me so much. I was scared of “outer darkness” and you said that we’d
    get me out.
I love your stories of helping your neighbors.
l hope all your coffees are
    delicious everyday .
    Love, Erica

    1. Thanks Erica!

I appreciate it a lot. The key to delicious coffee is eating a donut or brownie with it. 🙂

      Love you too!

      Thomas

    2. My dear Erica, you always make me smile! I cannot imagine anything that you might conceivably do that could make you put yourself into the outer darkness, my goodness!

  9. Hi Roberta, hi everyone,
I’m uplifted every week by this blog post and the sincere and wise comments that compliment it. The personal, honest reveals in readers’ replies help all of us understand more and grow, I think.

One could say the blog post and comment section go together like great coffee and fine chocolate. People’s comments (or chocolate doughnuts) enrich and compliment the actual post (the coffee). Whether as in Thomas Belknap’s brownie, or as in my fave chocolate croissant, our replies are part of this unique experience. I love that. 😉

And as Adrian wisely says above, it is all about pure Love. Love does reverberate through Jesus’ words and deeds, including His healing of multi millions of Christians damaged by religion, once they present in the afterlife.. That’s why I’d like to do this forthcoming course; to expand and deepen my own love within. I know Jesus, via Thomas and your good self, will find ways to make this happen, Roberta.

I too hope for a world where the spirit of ‘goodwill to all people’ is expanded beyond Christmas to every day of every year in perpetuity. This seems the only sane and logical outcome for the Earth.

Doesn’t it seem a tad absurd when society somehow informs us to switch on the feeling of goodwill over the Christmas period and then switch it off for the rest of the year?

It’s like the plastic Christmas tree that is unboxed and set up in December, before the festival starts, and is then packed away in January. Back in storage the tree goes, locked away until next Yuletide. All the bright baubles of warmth and kindness get put away too, until they are needed again on cue.

Real Joy at the Birth of Jesus, real goodwill to all people, is like a living tree that is planted and grows every day of every year.
Before long, it is a joy to see. And it is real, as love is real and towers large over habitual, seasonal sentiment.
    Love Efrem ❣️🙏🏼🕊

    1. Oh my dear wonnderful Efrem, I have just worked it out, and when it is 7:00 p.m. in Austin, it is noon the next day in Sydney. You could do this course with us! And wouldn’t that be a giggle? Think of the fun! There are close to fifty people who have expressed an interest, and all of them are blog post readers because I have mentioned this course nowhere else. I think of all of us as friends who can work lovingly together to get it just right before we take it to the world!

      1. Hey Roberta 👋
We are all friends of the heart and you have brought us together. I hold this fact in deep gratitude, my dear. 🙂

So I would absolutely love to do this course with all of you. I’d so enjoy being part of the prototype; where we do the test run and help get it just right.

In short, to be part of the honing process is quite an opportunity to both learn and help at once.

Somehow Roberta, this comes at a time in my life when I can focus on growth – and choose my own hours to join everyone in the US.

And a deeply personal God, who loves each one of us as His cherished holy child, is One I would love to get know more and more. 🙏🏼🕊❣️

        1. Oh my dear beloved friend, I have just looked again at that info email site, and I think there are more than fifty people now who want to take this class. It overwhelms me. The thing is, Thomas and Jesus really want to do this, they are more and more excited about this, and when I try to say, hey wait a minute guys, they just brush my nervousness away. I just had a hellish afternoon wrestling with the Massachusetts Secretary of State’s website, which once upon a time would have had me throwing my computer across the room in frustration, but now at my level of spiritual development it didn’t bother me at all. Thomas said, “See? Would you deny the world those teachings?” And no, I wouldn’t. And Omigod, those teachings work so beautifully! But Jesus should be teachings this course! I just feel so inadequate to this task!

  10. Dear Roberta,

How wonderful is life that we have each other? I am sure that the world will be blessed as we lean on each other and seek spiritual progression under the guidance of Lord Jesus. We are all at different points in our lives, yet we have been drawn together to share a small part of our “incarnate reality” and we will be seeking the Lord and His truths together.

Thank you, Roberta, for all you have done and are currently doing. I am feeling very blessed that I may be moving into a new phase of my life as there is hope that God is answering my prayers for deliverance from the chronic fatigue that I have suffered with for 7 years. Those years have been terrible and also wonderful at the same time. I asked God (again) a couple weeks ago while lying in a bed in Peru, to help me and the dual-meaning answer was “I am.”

So, say a prayer that the diagnostic path that is in progress will lead to me having energy and motivation and love of life again. Last night, after I pondered your post, I committed the rest of my life to the Lord’s direction. Could be an interesting path ahead.

    Thanks, again.

    David D.

    1. Oh my dear David D., if you have now truly committed the rest of your life to God, then welcome indeed to an interesting and exciting future! When I did that, I discovered that God’s ideas for me were MUCH better in every possible way than anything I ever could have dreamed up for myself, and I am sure you are going to have the same experience. Here comes the fun!!

      1. I hope God is clear about what I am to do, as communication to me seems to be very subtle. Otherwise, I will go where God wants me to go and I will do what God wants me to do. I’ll stay prayerful and open to the Spirit.

        1. Yes, my dear David, Spirit communication does feel subtle by our material standards, but you will quickly get used to that. It will be fine!

  11. Oh my goodness, if what just happened to me last night doesn’t prove “there are no coincidences” then I do not know what would.
I have been on a spiritual journey searching. Raised Catholic but not having been in Church in decades I thought maybe I need to go back to church. Our teen daughter suddenly ( and thankfully) opened her heart to our Lord so we decided to try a ” non denominational” church as I feared going back to the Catholic church. We went for a month and not only did it not feel right it was downright uncomfortable. So fine, I thought let me go back to the Catholic church. I had the same reaction but even more pronounced of unease as the Priest spoke only of what terrible sinners we are and we must come and confess our sins to him alone to get absolution and forgiveness. I thought “This is why I stopped coming to Chatholic church.”
I talk to our Lord daily. I pray and always thank him for mine and our blessings and have asked for guidance. On Sunday being completely heart broken and feeling lost along with our teen daughter I thought I must not be worthy of church or God’s love?
And then…last night after my meditation I thought let me listen to one of Dolores Cannon’s talks again. As YouTube came up there was your video about the after life. Having recently seen “Near Death” with my daughter I was intrigued. As I listened to you, my heart grew, my eyes filled with tears and a calm came over me. It was late and I went to sleep thinking about all you said.
I woke up early this morning with my husband and had to search you. I found this blog and bought one of your books (thank you for it being affordable) and I look forward to reading it.
Your love and compassion shines brightly through you and your words. I will also go back and re read the gospels. I need to read them as myself not as the Chatholic church told me to read and understand them.
Sorry for the long post, I just had to tell you how happy I am to have found you. I feel Jesus guiding me now. I don’t feel as adrift now. Thank you SO much!!

    1. Oh my dear beautiful Jennifer, all of this is really Jesus hearing you and answering you. I love it when He does things like this for people! There are times when He will read emails over my shoulder, and rush off right then to help. But yes, He is guiding you! And Jesus is pure love and light, only love and the sweetest and the purest love you can imagine, my darling. The Christianity which claims Jesus does not follow Him, but so long as you hold fast to Him you can have only His Light forevermore.

  12. Dearest Roberta,

Thank you so very much for your lovely and kind response. I literally could feel the love as I read what you said not only from you but from our Lord. Tears of love and compassion swelled as I read them. I started your book last night after I got the children to bed and I woke this morning with a peace and calm I have not had in years. Thank you, thank you for speaking up and out and bringing our Lord’s light and love with you!

    1. My dear Jennifer, I’m delighted that you have found us! Please know that you are loved, and you are very much among friends here. And of course if you have questions please don’t hesitate to ask them. From now until early next week, our info mailbox is full of people signing on for the course that we will shortly be giving, but after that I will be back to answering questions there as before. Wow, I am thrilled but also amazed at how many people want to take that course! I have never thought of myself as able to teach, so for certain I am going to need some help from the real Teacher!!
