there’s nothing you can do that can’t be done
(Love) nothing you can sing that can’t be sung
(Love) nothing you can say, but you can learn how to play the game
It’s easy

nothing you can make that can’t be made
(Love) no one you can save that can’t be saved
(Love) nothing you can do, but you can learn how to be you in time
It’s easy

All you need is love
All you need is love
All you need is love, love
Love is all you need

 Love, love, love
Love, love, love
Love, love, love

All you need is love
All you need is love (whoo!)
All you need is love, love
Love is all you need

Well, okay then. I woke up last Monday morning, and I realized that, at last and unexpectedly, my Thomas and I had no more discoveries that still were needed to achieve any further and final Truth.  As of now, my dear ones, at last we really do know the whole truth about death, the afterlife, and the greater reality that contains all of everything that exists. At last we understand it all, put together!

So, does this mean that my Thomas and I will have nothing more to write about? After spending my entire adult life researching death, the afterlife, the greater reality, consciousness as the source and ground of it all; and then finally, our Lord Jesus’s crucial role as our Wayshower in all of this, from Alpha to Omega; and then, most importantly, the fact that all of this really does fit together perfectly, hand within glove, so each aspect of everything that we have discovered in my life reinforces and makes more certain all of the other discovered aspects of the whole, so there is in fact one great and certain, knowable, beautiful, and gently perfect Whole Truth, and we have now at last found that Whole Truth. We have achieved the top of a mountain, my dear ones, from which it is possible to see and describe the whole of our perfect Reality. From here, we also can see the fact that this is very likely not the ultimate reality. We do know now that there is indeed a further and ultimate God of All. But it is enough for us now to realize that there is no need for us to know more than this. Jesus, my Thomas, and our frequent Seek Reality podcast guest, the Sixth-Level Being Mikey Morgan have all suggested to me that, as more of humankind scales this first reality mountain, then there are joys beyond joys abounding that as yet still lie far beyond our sight!

Jesus says to us: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who seeks finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened” (MT 7:6-8). And, long ago, I took that as an invitation, and also as a solemn promise. The fact that so many people are so appallingly afraid of dying weighs this world down with so much fear and pain, and it burdens us as well with the evils committed by all those craven people who expect to die and blink out like a light, without suffering consequences for their terrible actions! Just imagine how all of that might change, my beloved friends, when each of the people now living on earth knows with certainty that human life goes on forever after this earth-lifetime ends. It is impossible for anyone to die. The single greatest gift that could be given to this whole sorry world would be to free everyone in it of their perhaps now still understandable, but nevertheless utterly irrational belief in their own future extinction. So, I long ago made it the purpose of my life, and my solemn promise to the Godhead, that I would learn the whole truth about death, the afterlife, and the greater reality, all of it, and then I would teach these truths to the world.

So, how is it possible that a working lawyer with no scientific training at all can have come to understand death, the afterlife, and the greater reality that contains everything that humankind ever has discovered, and all while doing all this research as just an engaging hobby? Actually, anyone who was curious and only reasonably open-minded could have done all the same research that I have done, and would have reached pretty much my same conclusions. Thomas has assisted me, of course, but I don’t think his supernatural guidance was essential. No, but that need for a mind at least willing to consider new ideas would have flummoxed every working scientist on earth, and all religious researchers as well. Which, pretty much, has left you stuck with relying on just my Thomas and me. Here has been our research path:

  • Early-Twentieth-Century Afterlife-Related Books and materials. Here, long ago, is where we began. There was a great heyday of interest in the afterlife in the late nineteenth and the early twentieth centuries, which mostly petered out around the nineteen-thirties. Fifty years ago, I found many of the books written around that time in Boston’s used-book stores, and I immersed myself not just in all those amazingly similar but never identical personal afterlife tales received through deep-trance mediums in Boston, London, and New York State that I later reported on in The Fun of Dying (2010) and The Fun of Staying in Touch (2016). I read hundreds of tales of completed deaths that were like reading hundreds of tales of trips to always the same exotic place, to Fiji perhaps; plus amazing tales of astral travels out of body to other planets. It was just the most mind-bending, but still always consistent and believable other-worldly education! By 1975, when Raymond Moody’s Life After Life was published, I knew immediately that these people had not actually briefly died during their near-death experiences, and then come back to life, because their experiences were so inconsistent with genuine reported deaths, and so aberrant; although they oddly often seemed to happen in a very afterlife-like place. And then we began to find in more extensive NDEs a point where the experiencer would hear a voice saying something like, “Stop! Turn back! You are about to enter the place where the dead are, and if you proceed, your silver cord will break, and you will die.” Oh! From that, the researcher in me learned not only that, oh no indeed, no NDE-er ever actually dies. I also learned, and this has since been reinforced by other researchers, that our eternal home has a kind of foyer, through which people are processed out to be born into a life on earth, and then we are processed back in through that foyer when we return to our home after an earthly death. So, clearly, now we can see that most NDEs take place somewhere in the astral plane, so no wonder NDE-ers think they have actually died, when the atmosphere there is so different from earth. But, no. Death is always a one-way trip!
  • Science-Hobbyist Books, Journals, and Magazines. I devour these materials in abundance, and I have done this for decades! Few people understand just how completely the whole scientific profession chose to make many future discoveries impossible for scientists forevermore, very soon after the twentieth century began, by the simple expedient of turning the pursuit of what had been objective scientific inquiry into the closed-minded religion of materialist atheism. This was done mostly as a panicked reaction to the worry that the inestimable Max Planck, who won the 1918 Nobel Prize in Physics as the father of quantum mechanics, might be coming dangerously close to discovering, you know, the actual Christian God. But turning science itself into just another restrictive religion was a terrible way to battle that worry! Just as an aside, in reading older popular science magazines, I have occasionally seen what looked to be an actual Creator at work, rapidly fudging this little universe for us here, just ahead of what we can discover. You be the judge! But for example, long ago, there was a mystified astronomer who wrote a brief piece for some science magazine about how he could make stars appear by pointing his telescope at a heretofore empty span of sky, and then coming back after a year and looking at that same span of sky again, to find it now full of distant stars. And then there is the well-known phenomenon of punctuated equilibrium, a theory in evolutionary biology stating that species remain stable for long periods before experiencing brief, rapid bursts of major change, from which a whole new species appears; followed by another long period of stasis before we get another entirely new species. It is all so amazing! In so many ways, if you look closely enough, and you understand that this universe is not our real life, but it is only what Dr. R. Craig Hogan calls a spiritual school, really something like a stage set for us, you can come to see and appreciate what really is going on.
  • Consciousness Research. The scientific community’s dogma of materialist atheism is still, after more than a century, being rigorously enforced by its gatekeepers, by i ts university science departments and its peer-reviewed scientific journals, so the many inquiries into the nature of consciousness being made in recent years have had working scientists absolutely flummoxed. No, consciousness is not produced by the human brain. That has been proven, after billions of dollars have been spent in trying to find a source of consciousness inside the human meat-brain. And since mainstream scientists are literally forbidden to study what is not in some way related to matter, they really have no way to study consciousness, while still remaining inside the job requirements for working scientists. Too bad, since trained scientists who choose at this point to move off that very limited job reservation have by now pretty well demonstrated, for example, that life is a fundamental property of consciousness, so no wonder scientists have never been able to figure out how life began on earth! And, for his part, quantum physicist Max Planck, who first discovered the primacy of consciousness, has inspired scores of curious folks to follow his lead in studying consciousness, many of whom have scientific training, and some of whom have written books about their work, and have been guests on my thirteen-year-old Seek Reality podcast. From all of them, and from dear Max, I have learned so much! In 1944, toward the end of his life, Dr. Planck summed up his own thoughts by saying, “As a man who has devoted his whole life to the most clear-headed science, to the study of matter, I can tell you as a result of my research about atoms this much: There is no matter as such. All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particle of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter.” Just so.
  • The Gospel Teachings of Jesus. When I first began to study consciousness during just the past few years, I found that  the freest thinkers who had been there before me seemed to be reaching the uniform conclusion that consciousness is probably all there is. And, more than that, consciousness as they understand it is an energy, and energies vibrate. This energy is emotion-based, with fear and hatred at the low, slow, and weak end, and love and joy at the rapid, high and powerful vibrational end. Craig Hogan and I and other afterlife researchers had already concluded, based on evidence from several sources, that we choose to live these lives on earth in order to learn to raise our spiritual vibrations, away from fear and toward love; but, now all this consciousness information was reacting with something in my mind. Where had I seen it all before? And then it hit me. My college major had been early Christian history, and I have been a Gospels scholar, off and on, for my whole adult life. So, all of this was sounding a lot like the teachings of Jesus! Oh my God, had Jesus possibly known all of this about reality, consciousness, and the workings of His own teachings in the world, a whole two thousand years ago? I went back to studying the canonical Gospels, but now in light of what I had come to understand about reality; and I was astounded to see that Jesus almost certainly had been working with consciousness a whole two thousand years ago. To better comprehend how this all might work, I advertised and taught a series of courses on how to use the Gospel teachings of Jesus to raise our consciousness vibrations enough to make this your last necessary earth-lifetime. My brief courses were amazingly successful in creating a group of beautifully enlightened beings; and my further close study of the canonical Gospels, in light of what we now know about consciousness, convinces me that Jesus knew two thousand years ago what modern consciousness scholars are able to demonstrate only today.

So, that is it, and that is all. We know now that all of reality is contained within consciousness, with perfect love at its highest and most powerful end, and all the ishy emotions at its lowest and weakest end; and with everything always and forever under the perfect care of the infinitely loving Mind that the great and inestimable physicist Max Planck discovered and introduced to us more than a century ago. That true and perfect Godhead is the Source from which Jesus came to us as our Teacher two thousand years ago. And that true Godhead, that Holy Spirit, that Mind asks of us no sacrifice, nothing at all but that we live in ever more perfect love.

What followers of the Buddha, perhaps, and other great spiritual teachers, might need to spend most of a lifetime achieving, my students now use the precise teachings of Jesus based in His understanding of consciousness and of the workings of the human mind to achieve in just a couple of years, and while still living their usual earth-lives. And so, my dear ones, yes indeed, we finally do know the whole of the very greatest human Truth. All of our greater reality, everything that we know to exist, is contained within what we experience as consciousness; and each of our minds is part of that one great Mind, which is, at the pinnacle of consciousness, pure infinite Love, and the Source of all. Each of us is a part of the one great consciousness, and so each of us is eternal, by definition.  Our true home is in the gigantic astral plane, a literal wonderland of increasingly greater delights, all of which vibrates ever higher, and ever more toward perfect love than does this minimal material universe; and all of which, nevertheless, is still contained within consciousness. But, please only know and enjoy for this moment the fact that this earth is not your home, my dear one. Your true home, and mine, lies beyond the stars!

  1. Thank you again Roberta!!
What a comfort knowing the truth.
Now let’s all get busy moving towards perfect Love while we are here “in school”!

  2. Absolutely beautiful……. thank you for your knowledge, sharing the lessons you’ve learned, and your friends and mentors.

  3. Would you address if ACIM, or Swedenborg’s writings should be considered at all? Both claim to be from Jesus as well. Thanks!
