Jesus, The Source, The Teachings of Jesus
We are told by those that we used to think were dead that for more than a century there has been a major effort underway, being orchestrated at the highest levels of reality, to raise the consciousness vibration of this planet away from fear and anger and toward ever more perfect love. This goal should seem familiar to you. Those at the highest levels of reality – the Collective that is the only God – have recently re-initiated what is essentially the same effort to bring the kingdom of God on earth that Jesus first began 2000 years ago.
But why did the Lord’s effort to bring the kingdom of God on earth not succeed the first time around? Actually, it seems to have been going well for at least the first three hundred years. For example, the earliest Christians buried millions of their dead in tunnels beneath the city of Rome, the latest of which burials date to the early fifth century C.E. And in all the art in the Catacombs tombs there is not a single cross to be found! Instead, the symbols are peaceful ones: the fish, the dove, the vine, and especially the Good Shepherd who carries on His shoulders not a sheep, but a goat. What amazing evidence of the fact that the earliest Christians knew that Jesus had come to uplift us all, and even the least worthy among us! This gradual and gentle spreading of His Gospel truths may have been just what the Lord intended. After all, He said, “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ For behold, the kingdom of God is within you” (or “is in your midst”) (LK 17:20-21).
Jesus knew that because every human mind is part of one eternal Mind, it would not take much more than this single population working to raise their personal vibrations away from fear and toward more perfect love to begin to elevate the spiritual vibrations of everyone then living on earth. The transformation of the minds of His followers would begin the transformation of all human minds! As He said, “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three pecks of flour until it was all leavened” (MT 13:33). So we have every reason to think that for those first three centuries the advent of the kingdom of God on earth was unfolding precisely as Jesus and the divine Collective of which He is a part had intended that it should unfold. But then the Roman Emperor Constantine cast his eye on the Lord’s Christianity, and he had his brutal way with her. No less violent term seems adequate!
There were more than three dozen “heresies” stamped out by the early Roman church that had been strains of thought among pre-Councils Christians. Those different ideas had survived in peace because the Lord’s Way was emphatically not a religion! It required only that people learn to ever more perfectly love and forgive; and as Jesus said, “He who is not against us is for us” (MK 9:40). The fear-based notion that Jesus died for our sins was just one of many ideas in a widely varied movement, and it was harmless until Constantine the Great used his Council of Nicaea in 325 to begin to impose one fear-based Christian religion upon the world. A gentle and gradual movement that was spreading nothing but forgiveness and love would have been useless to an emperor. But a fear-based religion that carried the threat of hell for any who disobeyed? That was something he could use! Six more church councils followed that First Council of Nicaea, all called or presided over by emperors and ending with the Second Council of Nicaea in 787. So a false and fear-based religion was imposed upon the world by force at a cost of what is conservatively estimated to have been twenty-five million mostly awful deaths.
Our earliest evidence that a new effort had begun to bring the kingdom of God on earth dates to the late nineteenth century, when abruptly we began to receive much easier and more frequent afterlife communications. This step might have seemed necessary in order to begin to take down both fear-based Christianity and the equally false notion of atheistic scientism, and perhaps also to make it easier for people to understand why we need to choose love over fear; but no one knows for certain why we were suddenly being shown so much more of what was behind the curtain. And we don’t know why it took God so long to reject that false version of Christianity, although perhaps Constantine’s fear-based religion had turned out to be useful. It made this planet a tougher spiritual gym where more rapid growth was possible, especially for those who were nearing the end of their need to incarnate. Then from God’s perspective outside of time, perhaps it seemed by the 1840s that we had been given sufficient generations to ensure there would be incarnation-ready bodies for anyone who wanted to experience such an extreme degree of clueless negativity. The Collective that is God didn’t intervene until It felt the need to intervene so It could head off humankind’s greatest folly.
Among God’s earliest targets in this modern-day effort to bring the kingdom of God on earth were physicists. As we neared the turn of the twentieth century, clockwork materialism remained in place in a reality that is in no respect solid, to the point where Nobel Laureate in physics Albert Michelson said in 1894, “It seems probable that most of the grand underlying principles have been firmly established and that further advances are to be sought chiefly in the rigorous application of these principles to all the phenomena which come under our notice.” Even the great Max Planck, another Nobel Laureate and the father of quantum mechanics himself, said in 1924, “When I began my physical studies [in 1874] and sought advice from my venerable teacher Philipp von Jolly… he portrayed to me physics as a highly developed, almost fully matured science… Possibly in one or another nook there would perhaps be a dust particle or a small bubble to be examined and classified, but… theoretical physics approached visibly that degree of perfection which, for example, geometry has had already for centuries.”
To shake up this scientific materialist complacency, the Collective did two things at once. It initiated a new age of much better communication between the living and the not really dead; and It also channeled in to the minds of Dr. Planck and a few other physicists the wonderfully disruptive theory of quantum mechanics.
What strikes me most profoundly is the way that God-as-Collective has been acting even in a clear emergency with an extraordinary respect for human free will and dignity! Everyone who comes to earth with a commission from the Godhead does so voluntarily, and it is through these willing minions that nearly all the work of the Collective is done. God works in the world with all the love and patience of a host of perfected Beings Who once inhabited bodies Themselves. What a sublimely beautiful process this is!
But of course, when the scientific community was forced to react simultaneously to the twin challenges of quantum physics and very good evidence that the dead in fact survive, it chose to deal with the first while altogether ignoring the second. This stonewalling by the scientific gatekeepers of any evidence that the universe is not matter-based and random has gone on now for more than a century. Apparently it is going to end only when God decides it must end.
There is a lot that we still don’t understand, but for the first part of the twentieth century the Godhead seems to have watched Its work unfold while avoiding further interference in the affairs of humankind… until we used nuclear bombs in warfare in August of 1945. This was apparently what God had been working to prevent, and its suddenly happening seems to have been a wake-up call that might have been unique in human history. Insofar as we can tell, four initiatives were begun at once:
The Lord’s Gospel teachings on love and forgiveness and raising our personal vibrations sufficiently to bring the kingdom of God on earth are needed now more than they ever have been needed before! And those of us who have closely studied the Gospel teachings are delighted to report that the way things are getting a lot worse now was actually predicted by the Lord. He told us the advent of the kingdom of God on earth would be a time of great tribulation. So, how can we make it from here to there… ?
I posted a question on ALF for Mikey Morgan earlier today asking his take on similar matters – I hadn’t seen this blog entry at the time! 😉
Well, perhaps great minds think alike, dear Mac ;-).
All of this feels extraordinary to me as I write it down, even things that I have pretty much known for awhile. I mean, many people know what is happening… but how can it possibly be actually happening? It feels like the world’s hardest slog, and even impossible, this undoing of the fake Roman Church and the reinstatement of the Lord’s pure Gospel. And of course, for us it is impossible! But if it is indeed God’s will, then we know that nothing is impossible for God.
An interesting time ahead it seems but how quickly events will unfold this time looks unclear – always assuming the early thrust can be maintained with consequent changes sufficiently-widely accepted. There will be many individuals who will reject any and all such changes though and there will be major obstacles along the way I expect. 😉
As you might by now expect, I think we’ll both be looking on from ‘over there’ if/when things really get going although it may be a long, gradual and evolutionary proess rather than a swift, sharp and revolutionary one.
I could be wrong, though, and either of us might decide to make a swift return to continue watching from ‘this side’ instead. 😉
Dear Mac, none of that is my call. I was told more than a year ago to defer to a younger successor in the afterlife work, and I accepted with delight the woman they presented to me; I believe they will also choose a successor for me in this work for Jesus, but apparently not just yet. And yes, I expect to watch most of this unfold from the bleacher seats. They tell me I will soon thereafter return once more to teach, which is the only part of this whole mission that I am quibbling about….
Quibbling about your return or the teaching – or both? And how soon do you expect that to be?
Interesting to hear about ‘the other woman’ in afterlife work, Roberta. Anyone I know?
ps I might make a swift return but I doubt you will. 🙂
Hi Roberta,
In response to the question you pose at the end of this post, perhaps our spirit guides can provide information, if we are more aware of them?
Which reminds me of something I just read in Victor Zammit’s latest Afterlife Report newsletter. Through my Catholic upbringing, I am very comfortable with the idea of having a spirit guide (guardian angel). A bunch of years ago I came across the concept of soul teams and teams of guides. I resisted it a bit because I was comfortable with the lone angel. Then through some dream work, I became a little more cognizant of my own “team.”
This entry from Victor points out that there is one guide but also helpers. You have been aware of your team of guides and writing about them for as long as I can recall. I can’t pronounce the name of my primary guide (it’s not a simple name like Thomas! 😉), but I know her. Her name is something like El Bowa (spelling?) or E Bow-ay? One word or two as I wrote it, can’t say. Anyway she does indeed appear to be feminine and immensely loving and patient (which makes her a good guide for me since I am sure one of my main lessons to learn is what might be called a kind of “Cosmic” patience). Here’s my question: I am curious about Victor’s newsletter entry pointing out that there is one guide. I feel as though the soul team notion rings true, and you often refer to your guides (plural).
Do you remember when and how you became aware of the team. IS there a proper team, or is there a more accurate way to describe the help we get? I think it’s interesting that Victor’s reference points out that it’s easier when we are aware of the guidance.
I don’t think or talk in terms of ‘guides’ although I accept many individuals do and/or they may think in terms of one or more ‘guardian angels’.
My preference is to say ‘helper(s)’ as that’s less prescriptive; for me a ‘guide’ is someone with very specific attributes, an individual with specialised knowledge such as Roberta’s ‘main man’ former US President, Thomas Jefferson. He’s the one guiding/directing Roberta’s mission concerning Jesus, God et al. Plainly most of us don’t have such a guide.
I don’t concern myself how many helpers/guides there might be or the spiritual status of any particular one. Suffice it to say that she, he or they are there to help and support as appropriate, the number perhaps changing with individuals coming and going as needed.
This subject has been discussed on ALF (along with many others), afterlifeforums.com, Roberta’s forum-based website, where Roberta will also be found in conversation with its members.
Why not take a look there sometime? 🙂
Hello dear Mike! Thank you for this opportunity to talk about guides; I likely should do another blog post about them, and I probably will at some point. Meanwhile, here is one that I did years ago.
For most of my life I didn’t want to know my guides at all. I learned about spirit guides when I was in my thirties, but I treated them pretty much as you treat your car’s engine: I just wanted the car to take me where I needed to go, and I didn’t care what was under the hood. As I say in that blog post from 2015, all of this changed when Thomas broke into my life through a medium four years ago, almost to the day. By now I cannot imagine how I could work without him!
Briefly, here is what I know about spirit guides:
1) We plan each lifetime with the help of what is nearly always an eternal friend who is usually somewhat more advanced spiritually than we are, probably has stopped incarnating, but still is sufficiently connected to earth to be able to guide us here. This primary guide accepts responsibility for guiding us throughout our lives, and actually grows spiritually to the extent that we are growing spiritually. There are a few situations where our primary guide might be swapped out, but these are rare. (And note: our primary guide is always someone who has lived in a body, so is never an angel. We have guardian angels too, but their task is to keep our bodies alive for long enough for us to get to a planned exit point.)
2) As we move through life, we might need specialized help with various things, for which our primary guide will call in experts “for a reason or a season.” A health challenge or learning a musical instrument or a new, difficult job or almost anything might be an occasion to add a guide or two, but they generally don’t stay for life. Sometimes our primary guide will call in what I think of as “lifestyle guides,” and I think this might happen especially often when the primary guide and the person in a body are of different genders. And if we are doing God’s work, we sometimes will attract the interest of an extremely advanced being or two, but I think they come primarily to observe and perhaps to advise our primary guide.
3) When I first met Thomas four years ago, I had eleven guides. I had three lifestyle guides (they primarily crank at me about taking better care of my health), four guides who work on my Fun books, and three guides who help me write fiction (because they say it relaxes me). And Thomas. Apparently Thomas heads my nonfiction team and channels in their work, but he doesn’t have much to do with my writing fiction, which is channeled by a guide named Marvina.
We are told that everyone has a primary guide – apparently you can’t be in a body without one – and I agree that knowing your guides does help a lot! I no longer even need to communicate with Thomas through a medium, since I always know what he is thinking about whatever I am doing. And of course he has a different eternal name (as do we all). He told me when he first came out to me that I should call him Thomas, since he knew I would think of him by that name. Upon first meeting us, most of our guides will suggest that we just give them a name that we like.
I should probably add that earth-fame counts for nothing where Thomas is now, and he was exasperated with me until I managed to get past feeling star-struck. We are friends through many incarnations, we each have a pressing job to do now, and we do that job as best we can. And that is wonderfully true of all of us and the spirit guides who are sharing our journey!
Thank you, Roberta. My guide, “El Bowa” (if that’s not her eternal name but just the name she, like your Thomas, thinks I would prefer, then I shudder to think what a name I didn’t would be like! 😁), does seem to have known me a very long time AND I know from the dream work that she REALLY REALLY is invested in me. I have had at least three dreams in recent years in which she’s made it clear that she’s relying on me. I just don’t know for what!
The way I heard it is that there is a main guide and several if not many “helpers”. I find it hard to understand that if there are so many “guides” around why there is so much unspeakable violence i.e. senseless murders etc. Would be interested in knowing what response you get to the question you asked Mikey Morgan on ALF.
Dear Lola, our guides’ role is not to parentally supervise us, and they cannot overrule our complete free will! Their job is to act kind of like ground control, to help us work out the flight plan for this lifetime, to adjust it with us as necessary during our frequent nightly meetings, and to nudge us as necessary to help to keep us on those plans that we have established for these lives. No one plans to be born with “become a mass-murderer” in their life-plan! But our free will is absolute. If you decide today to go out and shoot up a school bus, your guide will not (I think he actually cannot) stop you.
As you come to better understand your life plan, you can sometimes see the nudges. The one that seems clearest to me in retrospect was when I chose my college major. I looked at the fact that I had chosen “Religion – Christian History” on the sheet, and before I signed it I had a brief reality-check. Really? Why religion?? Then I knew at once with the same gentle certainty that I get now from Thomas almost daily that this was the major that I should choose. I didn’t know for a decade more that spirit guides even existed, but I clearly felt his nudge that day!
To tie this response back to today’s post, I should add that your concern about people choosing to harm others can be addressed only by raising the consciousness vibration of this planet. Nothing else will make even a pint of difference! So in guiding all of us to make the most of the spiritual lessons that we confront in this lifetime, always choosing love over fear, our own primary guides are really the determined foot-soldiers in this greatest fight that any of us ever will confront!
I agree. The planet is full of negativity. It will take time, but eventually people will realize that raising their vibrations is the only way to improve things. Few people are aware that there is such a thing as a life plan, and that could be the reason they feel so lost and prone to violence.
This world – as far as we know – has always been a ‘negative’ place. It’s set up to give incarnates experiences they can’t find in the etheric dimensions. Broadly it appears what humankind does is what humankind has to live with – you make your bed and you lie in it. Other than in extreme situations (not closely defined) our friends in spirit won’t intervene on a global scale.
Raising the overall vibration of this world is work-in-progress anyway but the rate at which it is to happen isn’t set in stone. As long as new souls are entering this world then its overall spirituality will be ‘dragged down’ by the inexperience of these newcomers – it was ever thus.
Little-by-little this world is changing for the better in many ways but for the worse in plenty of others. Who knows what the overall spiritual balance is – moving forward at all or oscillating gently forwards and backwards, maybe slight forward motion?
Yes, I forgot about new souls. I see what you mean.
Hi Roberta,
I love the early Christian symbols found in Rome’s catacombs. The fish, the vine, the shepherd and the goat. Hang on ….. The Shepherd and …… a goat ?!?
I’m so used to the image of gentle Jesus with the fluffy white lamb on his shoulders, that I laughed when I read about a (gnarly?) goat. It was so unexpected, but is still in keeping with a little animal in Jesus’ loving care.
The idea that the Collective is giving Jesus’ teaching a fresh start for a new age is wonderful my dear!
I love this approach. So, we can nurture Jesus’ teachings, the Way, and share them with everyone as a method to grow spiritually. This secular movement could (will) seriously work, because it ditches the old, cold bath water but keeps the beautiful baby, newly wrapped in the warm blankets of our love and nurturing.
This is exciting to me, because I have talked to many people who love Jesus but feel let down by church doctrine or congregants’ judgmentalism or their lack of embodiment of his teachings.
A new, enlightened approach informed by knowledge of the afterlife and how to grow spiritually, would give many people just what they have been looking for. Many people will feel uplifted, knowing that he loves them and that he does indeed come from the highest level of the Godhead.
Last week you said that He wishes to start the Way in a decommissioned synagogue. It’s as if Jesus is picking up just where he left off, before the Roman Emperors twisted his message to suit their power structure. (Even the centralized, hierarchical nature of the Roman Church bespeaks power and control, does it not ?)
I love this idea. The synagogue as a starting point reflects a people’s movement, even in the meaning of the word itself.
IE: ‘Synagogue’ in Greek is place of ‘assembly’. In Hebrew the word is ‘beit knesset’ which means ‘meeting house’.
That’s thankfully not reflective of a top down structure. Hence the meeting place of the Way would be inclusive, warm, inviting and an egalitarian community of true brothers and sisters who KNOW that they are helping to raise the vibration of the planet. Tremendous.
I’m glad that there are minions around now who are here to help things get going. I also wondered if the Collective wanted to start now, because the internet can reach millions of people. These days a movement can spread like fire in the long dry grass!
Statisticians say that within ten years, five billion people will be connected to the internet. Maybe this is the Divine reason that we have this technology (?)
This week’s blog was big and explains so much. Thank you. I’m still reading over it.
And those million grandmothers and million grandfathers, who are infinitely loving have all this in hand. Wow!
Take care my dear,
Love and hugs,
Efrem
PS: I don’t know who your successor for afterlife matters is, but I do know that when you do a podcast with Sandra Champlain, an amazing vibe is created.
This dynamic team stands out to me for some reason.
Xxo
Dear Efrem, I also have wondered whether the Internet might be another of the many ideas channeled in from there to a few minds here so the Collective would be able to make use of it to reach the world ;-).
I have thought, too, that what Jesus might be attempting is a return to the roots of His Way, entirely cleansed of the false religion of Christianity. The building now under consideration is adorable, with beautiful stained glass windows. It is the kind of place where Jesus Himself would have preached… if stained glass had then been in use. We’ll see. But your vision is as we are being given it too, Efrem. You express it here better than I can.
We keep being shown the fact that Jesus insisted that His followers keep His teachings separate from any religion. He even said that people could remain observant Jews while they followed His Way! That the clergymen of His day could teach the Way while they still led their Jewish flocks – he called it keeping “new treasures and old” in their larders.
But every modern effort to get closer to Jesus has been built on Nicaea’s false foundation. It has been a stripping-away of some of the more objectionable parts of Christianity, and as a result even the best attempts – the Unity movement is one example – have been limited, in the end, by the constraints of a religion: the hierarchy, the dogmas. What we are being shown is a growing mass of people worldwide who known what truly is going on and who are striving to raise their own vibrations so they can help to light the world.
Another problem will be identifying what Jesus really SAID vs. words put into his mouth. Also there are mistranslations, “modern” translations and paraphrases out of context of his messages.
One example I came across today was a UCC minister in Chicago who not only “updated” Jesus’ words from Luke 12:57-58 but failed to note that he is talking to people he addresses as “hypocrites” (usually temple authorities), not to the poor people on the streets of Chicago as this minister seems to be presenting it in her article to make her own point.
Hello dear Mike! I so much agree that the fact that modern Christian preachers are speaking from the fear-based dogmas of a religion that has nothing to do with Jesus and they nevertheless take bits of the Gospels out of context is a terrible distortion of the Lord’s mission!
The passage she quotes is from this longer passage; I have italicized the two verses she uses:
“And He was also saying to the crowds, ‘When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, “A shower is coming,” and so it turns out. And when you see a south wind blowing, you say, ‘It will be a hot day,’ and it turns out that way. You hypocrites! You know how to analyze the appearance of the earth and the sky, but why do you not analyze this present time?’
“’And why do you not even on your own initiative judge what is right? For while you are going with your opponent to appear before the magistrate, on your way there make an effort to settle with him, so that he may not drag you before the judge, and the judge turn you over to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison. I say to you, you will not get out of there until you have paid the very last cent.’”
I don’t know how she used this passage, but I see it as more of His discussion of what we know is His constant obsession throughout the Gospels: the advent of the kingdom of God on earth. He is speaking to “the crowds,” so it likely is more than just Temple authorities; but at that time most of those He spoke to were strictly observant Jews, and we must remember that He came to lure them out of their religiosity and then to abolish all religions. I see this as one of the many places where He is trying to get them to spot the advent of the kingdom of God on earth by the signs of its coming, In the same way that they can use signs to predict the weather. This is further reinforced for me by the fact that He immediately gives them a practical example of how we all will behave differently once the kingdom of God is well advanced on earth: we will no longer self-righteously judge other people and engage in ego-based fights for money, since anyway – as He points out to us here – those are battles that we are bound to lose. Instead, as our consciousness vibrations rise, we will peacefully and lovingly work out among ourselves what is right. Note here, too, that He talks about this raising of our vibrations as happening in “this present time”! He truly did believe that the kingdom of God was even then beginning to dawn on earth. And so it would have been, if Constantine the Great had not laid waste to the true Christianity of those precious first three hundred years!
What do you see here, Mike? And how did she use this passage?
Roberta,
She is no slouch. I rechecked her credentials and she is not only a minister but a professor of theology, and apparently the executive director of what I believe is a homeless shelter. It’s that she came up with her own “modern” translation that uses the expression, “you don’t have to be a genius…” I know she’s trying to make it relevant but I don’t think that’s the right tone. Also, her point seems to be that Jesus says don’t trust the police. I want to post her actual translation here, but I am not sure about copyright.
Anyway you also asked me what I make of what Jesus is actually saying. I think it’s that we can figure things out together and that by relying on “authority,” — in this case he’s using a judge as an example but I don’t believe this is an instruction about legal matters– we are sure to have to endure a lot of penalties imposed on us for no good reason. In other words, we can make our choices, not out if fear or dire penalty but in collaboration with each other.
This is one of the things that feel tragic to me, the fact that so many earnest and well-meaning people have given their whole lives to the study and dissemination of Christianity, thinking they were serving Jesus, when in fact they were serving nothing but an artificial and fear-based religion that is an active barrier to the genuine work that Jesus came to do! Poor woman . I cannot imagine how she got “You don’t have to be a genius” out of that passage. Good grief! And “Don’t trust the police”is an especially tragic message to be giving out in Chicago, which has the worst crime rate anywhere.
Thank you for pointing that passage out to me, dear Mike! I never had paid it much attention before, but in fact it fits in very well with the blog post that will go out tonight ;-).
Waiting…!😃
