Quantum Consciousness

Afterlife Research, Quantum Physics, Understanding Reality

A friend of mine has sent me an extraordinary interview with Lother Schafer, a quantum physicist who has more than a clue about what actually is going on. His Infinite Potential: What Quantum Physics Reveals About How We Should Live Max Planck Bust(2013) is a deeply remarkable book. Dr. Schafer has arrived at precisely the same set of conclusions about reality and the nature of our minds that you and I are exploring now! And while we have reached our conclusions from the perspective of the afterlife evidence, Dr. Schafer has achieved the same results from the perspective of quantum physics.

I urge you to listen to the linked interview. It is going to change your life! It doesn’t matter that mainstream scientific gatekeepers are still resolutely pretending that reality is only material, and they stubbornly continue to try to make sense of their hypothetical clockwork universe. Persistence is not a virtue when you are demonstrably wrong. Gatekeepers have managed to enforce spiritual ignorance in the scientific community for more than a century. But eventually – as it always does – the truth will win.

The immortal Max Planck won the 1918 Nobel Prize in Physics as the father of quantum mechanics. He could have told you a hundred years ago what Dr. Schafer is saying today! In 1931 he said, ”I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as derivative from consciousness. We cannot get behind consciousness. Everything that we talk about, everything that we regard as existing, postulates consciousness.” And he said in 1944, “As a man who has devoted his whole life to the most clear headed science, to the study of matter, I can tell you as a result of my research about atoms this much: There is no matter as such. All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particle of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter.”

It is frustrating to realize that the Chinese military, not hamstrung by Luddite Western physics, is already learning how to control robots with the human mind. The Chinese people have been in the forefront of energy medicine, and far ahead of us in their generalEinstein Front understanding of the nature of our minds. Meanwhile, American scientists cheerfully carry on assuming that the human brain is something more important than a two-way radio in the head of a meat-robot. Investigators have spent the past sixty years unsuccessfully seeking a source of Einstein’s genius in the man’s dissected brain. And researchers are working on ways to influence our minds by mechanically affecting our brains, which is the least efficient imaginable process!

You will be relieved to know that this enforced scientific ignorance soon must end. As Max Planck said in 1948, “A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it.” Of course, several generations of materialist scientists have succeeded one another since Dr. Planck shared that bit of wisdom, and science has remained in ignorance because scientific gatekeepers were working so hard to keep each new generation of physicists in ignorance during their formative years. But the gatekeepers’ power to enforce scientific ignorance is on its last legs. And that is in large part thanks to you!

As you further investigate and share these truths about what really is going on, you have the power to reach every third-grade Little League pitcher and every winsome fourth-Girl and Boygrader in pigtails. Among these children are the two who are destined to share the 2058 Nobel Prize in Physics as the parents of a consciousness theory of everything. Future groundbreaking physicists won’t feel inspired to investigate the truth unless we can reach them at a vulnerable age with enough information to make them curious. And fortunately, after a futile century of scientific obstructionism, you and I are beginning to reach them now!

  1. Hi, Roberta! I’m not sure how to react, but to be honest, I think I got more from your blog than the interview with Dr. Lothar Schafer. He’s obviously a fine scientist and knows his quantum physics from a scientific perspective, but I didn’t get much new from him.

I’m far from a quantum physicist. I don’t understand the higher math and advanced statistical analysis that it entails. I’m just a layperson who’s understanding of the subject comes from Dr. Fred Alan Wolf’s and Dr. Amit Goswami’s books and numerous articles on the web on the subject geared to the layperson. One thing comes out and that is there are many schools of thoughts in Quantum Physics, but the two main branches are the materialists and the consciousness based.

And, as you point out, the materialists have the upper hand in all the sciences at the moment. There is no dispute on the hard data from quantum experiments, it’s the interpretation of the data where the arguments come from. The math and statistical analysis gets extremely complex, I’m told, as both camps debate back and forth.

Back to the interview, I really didn’t hear anything from Dr. Schafer that I hadn’t heard from Dr. Wolf or Dr. Goswami, though in slightly different terms. The interviewer didn’t get to any practical applications until near the very end. It boiled down to the fact that we are all inter-related at the quantum level so if you mistreat others you’re really mistreating yourself. I think Jesus said something similar 2,000 years ago: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”? Something we can all agree on!

I thought perhaps the subject of death and the afterlife would come up, but not so. Like every quantum physicist on the consciousness side, Dr. Schafer talked about a sort of “Mind at Large” or “Universal Mind,” but nothing about “Individualized consciousness.”

I’m not sure if even the consciousness based camp of quantum physics can explain and deal with the continuance of the Individualized consciousness and personality after the death of the body. Maybe in the future with further developments. Yet, we know that individual survival is true. What do you think?

One last thing, I’ve read of a several U. S. universities doing the same research and development as the Chinese on the “controlling robots with the human mind.” But, that seems to me to still be a materialist approach. As we know, the mind is not the brain, but inter-acts with it. What they’re doing is using the “traces of thoughts”(electrical impulses in the brain), caused by the mind, to be picked up by an EEG like machine that is programmed to in turn send signals to the robot to behave in a certain manner. There’s no direct message from the mind of the individual to the robot via telepathy or something non-material.

Also, I imagine military black-ops labs are taking this brain-to-machine technology to all sorts of levels, many nefarious, in top secret, of course.

Thanks, again, Roberta for a blog that got me thinking!

    1. Dear wonderful Michael, I’m flattered that you thought what I said was more interesting than what had been said by our so learned friend! You clearly know a great deal more about quantum physics and the issues facing physics in general than I do, and you seem to have more patience with physicists. After decades of watching scientists in general – and physicists in particular – altogether stonewall the afterlife evidence, I am pathetically grateful for a crumb or two. Like Max Planck’s century-old wisdom. Like an adorable elderly quantum physicists expounding about consciousness and the fact that it is more than a mere artifact of our meat-brains. But that’s just me! I never got beyond Algebra II, never took a single course in physics, and am relieved indeed to find that the physics that operates in more than 95% of reality doesn’t seem to be mathematics-based ;-).

Indeed, you’re right in suspecting that the federal government has been doing some black-ops research. I’ve come across bits of it in my travels. It seems, though, that the heyday of it is past: either it has gone deep underground, or their funding is tight, or for some reason they don’t seem to be doing it as much as they once did. I liken it to NASA, which more than forty years ago put a man on the moon with a fraction of the computer power that exists in one iphone, but now can’t even manage a rocket-launch.

Hmmm… so, what do you know about aliens? That’s another field where the afterlife evidence gives us lots of information that I have been trying to ignore. But I might just blog about aliens next week….

  2. Thanks, Roberta, for the undeserved compliment. Like I said, I’m far away from any mastery of quantum physics. You possess a high level of understanding of it on a layperson’s level and express it much better than I could.

Luckily, there are exceptional scientists like Dr. Gary Schwartz and Dr. Craig Hogan who are getting the funding for afterlife research. They are not physicists, though. I think perhaps most physicists are worried about their “reputation” if they publicly express any interest in or positive affirmation for the afterlife it could be career damaging to a greater or lesser extent. Hopefully, that will change.

As for “aliens,” I’ve had an interest in ufology since I was young, in the late 1950’s and kept a eye on the subject ever since. There’s a lot of solid evidence that the skeptics overlook or intentionally ignore. There’s a whole school of thought that says they’re “ultraterrestials,” actually from other dimensions. Anyhow, I’ve an open mind on the subject.

You say that the afterlife evidence gives us plenty of info on “aliens.” Great! I haven’t given the relationship a lot of thought and research, but it’s occurred to me the two arenas are certainly intertwined. I’m all eyes and ears and really looking forward to your next blog on how it all could relate.

P.S. I notice that Michael Tymn is your current guest on your interview show “Seek Reality.” He’s top quality and one of the best. I’ll be listening to it this evening.

    1. Hello dear Michael! You and I have the same favorite people: Gary, Craig, and Michael are the stars of this whole burgeoning field, and such wonderful friends!

Where closed-minded physicists are concerned, the truth will win. In the end, it always does. Already their wall of denial and obfuscation is full of cracks – they won’t be able to suppress reality for much longer.

You’ve got me thinking about UFOs now! And I have a few articles to link. All that I know about the topic comes from the afterlife evidence, but there is quite a bit here and there. Let’s see whether it all will make a blog post!

  3. I wish I knew how to get onto Web Ralk Radio or Contact Talk Radio Network, and the Seek Reality show. I have only an ordinary radio that plays stupid junk. Do you have to have a certin type of radio for that? I am not very computer literate, using an older computer that is v. slow. J.B.

    1. Oh dear friend, I wish I could easily help you! Both WebTalk and CTR are internet shows. You should be able to go to WebTalkRadio.org on the internet with just about any computer, search for me among the hosts, go to my page there, and just click on recent episodes. You may need iTunes to be loaded on your computer. Do you have that? Once you click, the episode should simply start to play! Have you tried clicking through the link on this website?

  4. Thank you, dear wonderful Michael! Believe it or not, I’m so tech clueless and so overwhelmed with tasks that I never even have been to that website – I’m glad it has a link that you can share ;-).

  5. The Theory of Everything has been released open source and it exceeds what anyone expected or anticipated, it has mathematics, formula, new experiments, simple examples for all ages to cut through the complex physics jargon, metaphysics with a huge focus on consciousness and lots of FUN! It really has everything!
